Delete Your Errandy Rider Account

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted, your account and personal data cannot be recovered.

How to delete your account

Account deletion is done directly inside the Errandy Rider app. Follow these steps:

Open the Errandy Rider app Make sure you are logged in to the account you want to delete.

Tap the Profile tab Located in the bottom navigation bar.

Scroll to the "Delete Account" section It appears near the bottom of the Profile screen, marked with a red warning icon.

Tap "I want to delete my account" The deletion form will expand on screen.

Select a reason for leaving Choose one or more reasons from the list provided.

Enter your account password to confirm This step verifies that you are the account owner.

Tap "Delete permanently" Your account deletion will be processed immediately.

Note: You must be offline (not on an active delivery) before you can delete your account. If you have pending deliveries, complete them first.

What gets deleted

When you delete your Errandy Rider account, the following personal data is permanently removed from our systems:

Account credentials (email address, phone number, password)
Profile information (full name, next of kin details)
KYC documents — National Identification Number (NIN), selfie photograph, vehicle/tricycle photograph, guarantor information
Device push notification token
Saved delivery zone preference

What gets retained

Order and payment records are retained for up to 3 years.

Financial transaction records (order history, delivery fees, payment events) are retained to comply with financial reporting and legal obligations. These records do not contain your login credentials or KYC documents and are not used for any marketing purpose.

Can't access the app?

If you are unable to delete your account through the app (e.g. you no longer have access to your registered phone number), you can request manual deletion by contacting us directly:

Email us with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include your registered name and phone number so we can locate and delete your account.
